Toolinder
This is an app created for the hackaTUM 2020 hackathon to showcase the power of simple UX.
It allows teachers to swipe through requirements of tools in a tinder-esque style in order to find the perfect tool they need to teach comfortable and with success.
What its made of
- We (my hackathon team) chose to use NativeScript for the frontend, as an hackathon always is about learning - none of us had used nativescript before, so it was a great opportunity.Faucibus orci lobortis ac adipiscing integer.
- Using python as a backend was another decision based of learning, as half the team did not come from a programming perspective - and python offers an easy entrance to programming
- Using JSON as the communication format was a n-brainer due to the easy conversion to python's pandas dataframes and the power of pandas
- And finally, the API gets hosted on a server my friend Stefan Körner who was part of my hackathon team.
